When we got our rottweiler, Ripley at 12 weeks old, the breeder warned us about her domineering personality. And she was indeed domineering. She has boundless energy and she wore us down. One particularly bad habit was attacking the tv, which got so bad that we couldn't watch tv with her in the room. This was until we started watching Cesar Millan applying his techniques. It was simple - we basically did the "tsst" thing consistently; and I mean it was tireless consistency. Well, after a week we noticed Ripley's attacks on the tv have reduced. It's been about a month now and Ripley is a changed dog. Not only has she completely stopped attacking the tv, she's calm and submissive all the time. She's no longer hyper. She sits and waits at the door to be let out, she walks calmly, she's totally relaxed! My husband agrees with Cesar in that because Ripley no longer feels the stress and pressure of trying to be a pack leader, she is now relaxed and can concentrate on being a dog. Cesar, you're a legend! We can't stop recommending your program and dvds to all our dog friends, who are simply amazed at Ripley's turnaround.
