Sue Bourne had lived in her street for 14 years and long suspected that, behind every one of the 116 doors lining the road, there are fascinating stories to be told. So, driven by curiosity, and nosiness, she decided to make a film about her neighbours. What she found was joy, tragedy, success and heartbreak; a rich mosaic of human life. We’ll meet are millionaires next to people on benefits, a former drugs smuggler alongside a classical composer, a fragile man in his nineties and even a Margaret Thatcher impersonator.
